Easter Train Ride

For the last several years we have been going to ride Thomas the Train on Memorial Day weekend. Last year the kids seemed to enjoy it, but seemed to be on their way to outgrowing Thomas.  We thought it might be the last year...well, it was the last year because for some reason Heber Valley Railroad decided not to do Thomas this year.  When we were looking online for information on it, we saw that they were doing an Easter train ride.  The tickets were less than Thomas, but more than we wanted to spend...then a few days later Mike found a 1/2 off deal on the Daily Herald site. The whole family was around $30 to go. For that price we decided it might be fun.  They had baby animals at the depot which Rowan thought was cool.

Then on the ride home, Mike took a detour up to Sqaw Peak, and we got there just in time to see a bunch of para-gliders launching. It was pretty amazing to watch!!
