Fun at the Treehouse Museum

This week was Spring break, and we decided to postpone our trip to Zion since Liam has a broken arm.  He actually asked us if we could wait because he was worried about tripping and hurting his arm again.  He also didn't want to feel left out of any activity because of his arm.  His cast is on pretty tight since his bone had shifted a little since his closed reduction (arm set surgery), so our last deciding factor was the possibility of any swelling with a lot of activity and the heat.  We did not want to risk having to have his cast removed while away.

Anyway, spring break we ended up having to do a lot of mundane chores that needed to be done.  One was getting our dryer fixed, another was installing a new microwave, and doing other work around the house.  The kids were very well behaved considering it all.  So when Friday came around we decided to do something fun!  We took them to a museum in Ogden that we have never been to called The Treehouse Museum.  The museum currently has a Curious George exhibit that is visiting, and we didn't want to miss it since both kids and even ourselves love Curious George!  We were actually quite impressed with the museum, it was well laid out, and well staffed, and very clean!  The staff kept things picked up and stocked with supplies, and interacted with the guests particularly in the theater where they involved the kids in a play!  The kids were too nervous to volunteer the first perfermance, but Liam decided he wanted to do a non-speaking part the next time around.  He ended up being the bunny in the story Puss In Boots.  We didn't get any good pics, but we got a video (which I will post later).
