Click Clack Moo

We took the kids to the yearly kid's play at Salt Lake Acting Company. This is Liam's 3rd time going, and Rowan's first time going. They started doing a kid's play about 4 years ago, and it was so successful, they do one every year now. The kids have been super excited to go, and have been talking about it since they announced they were doing a play based on the book 'Click Clack Moo'. We always buy the book too, so they can know the story before we go.

We got our tickets a couple months ago, but I forgot to check the seats...when I realized they were front row, Mike and I were a little concerned because of how wiggly Liam was the first time he went at age 3. This was Rowan's first time going to a play, so we had no idea how she would behave.  When Liam was her age, he only sat still for about 10 minutes, then he wanted to run up to the stage, then run up and down the isles.  I called the theater when I saw they were front row seats to see if we could move to the 2nd or 3rd row, but the only seats they had available were pretty far back.  So we just decided to give the front row a try, and if they acted up, I would own the problem.  Anyway, we had nothing to worry about because both kids were angels!  They both sat still in their seats, they payed attention the whole time, and clapped and laughed too.  I kept staring at their faces as they watched the play.  It was a great experience for us to see them enjoy it. They were probably still full from their brunch that we took them to before the play, but we didn't even need to bribe them with treats to be good.

I pulled these pics from their FB page, since we can't take photo's during the play :)

Is was a great play!!  They always know how to bring a book to life, such creative and talented people.

They both told me how much they loved it. It looks like it was super cute.

Oh how fun and cute are they! Such a neat little experience for them to learn about theater and manners. I'm glad it went so smooth for you. We received your pkg today, thank you...Happy Holidays!!
