Long looong day today. Foster dog, Toby, had his Rabies vaccine at SLSN in Salt Lake City, they recommended he see a full service vet to have an eye exam. So we went to Alpine Animal Hospital. The vet was concerned about possible glaucoma and/or a cataract, so he set us up with an eye specialist in SLC this afternoon noon. So we went back to SLC for a second time today?! The sad news is Toby has had some sort of trauma to his small eye that caused him to go blind. The good news is he does not have any discomfort from it, and doesn’t need any surgery or treatment for it!! 😊 His big eye is perfectly normal and he can see out of it! It’s a happy day for Toby! Since the 2 vet visits were kinda spendy for the rescue, I will be posting a fundraiser to help pay for his visits.
